
Some of you would have come to face this kind of problem and it’s really annoying while inserting the next CD-R into CD-RW burner but it still displaying the previous CD feature on the directory. I believe it may have something to do with the Autoplay feature.
Here are my solutions:
Hit ‘refresh’ that it would rescan the CD information
Check for the firmware update for the current drive
Check the jumper setting on your hardware, ensure it is been set correctly
Head to Device Manager, uninstall that drive and reboot
Try AUTOFIX.EXE freeware - utility was written by a member of the Microsoft Windows Shell team, and is designed to inspect and optionally fix problems that it encounters with the Windows XP Autoplay settings
