Box.net is now more reliable and become almost as handy when you are away from your computer as your trusted thumb drive—maybe even more so. After few months development, Box.net officially released the Beta of their new collaboration functionality. This feature is as simple as to use that enables you to share any folders with colleagues, friends, and family who also have Box.net accounts.

Box.net with an excellent site layout with cool web 2.0 design currently released a plug-in to allow users to save files from Microsoft Office and Facebook directly to Box account.

Plug-in for Microsoft Office

1. Click the link to install the plug-in

   BoxNetOfficeAddinSetup.msi

2. A “save to Box.net” link will appear in the “add-in” section of each Microsoft Office application. Click on it and enter email and password.



3. File will be uploaded Box.net account.



4. File will be located under “My Files” > “Office on Demand Files” in your Box.net
